How to make payments
Different employers have different needs, so at HIP we offer a range of options to streamline the payment of contributions and sending of payment details.
Payment options
Depending on whether your remit electronically or on paper you can pay contributions by:
- Electronic funds transfer (EFT)
- Cheque (paper and email only)
- Direct debit (online only)
- BPay (online or paper only)
- Paying personally at any HIP Office.
EmployerOnline - A fully encrypted, password-protected internet service that provides online access to lodge returns and access contribution records. It gives you the flexibility to either:
- Upload your payroll file or excel spreadsheet with your contribution data
- Complete a Contribution Advice Form online which is pre-populated with your employees' details
If you do not have access to the internet, you can email your payroll file or spreadsheet.
Paper contributions – You can also submit your contributions manually using paper-based forms. Every month we will send you a pre-populated form for you to complete and return with your payment.
Important note: Unless you hold an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL), or are an authorised representative of an organisation that holds an AFSL, you cannot recommend any financial products or give advice about any superannuation funds.Breaches of the relevant legislation could expose employers to hefty fines and/or imprisonment.Any person wanting advice about financial products should seek advice from an Australian Financial Services licensee or an authorised representative of a Licensee.
